Woke up this morning feeling incredible! Mark and I had some coffee and played Zombie Dice before heading out to Boston for a day of walking the Freedom Trail. We started off at RedBones for some breakfast barbecue and Blue Moon.
After "breakfast" we headed to Boston to walk the Freedom Trail. The length of it is marked by bricks or a painted red line so that you stay on track. We started in Boston's oldest park, Boston Common. Mark got a walking book so that we could read about what we were seeing.
We walked to the Old North Church, Paul Revere's House, and the harbor to see the seals. The weather was perfect for a walk around Boston, it wasn't too hot nor too sunny. This is the first time that I have been to Boston when it hasn't been blizzard-ing so that was a real surprise to me that it could be warm ;)
This is my real pic of the day. I love how all of Boston just fills in the background :) This is about where the Freedom Trail started and we walked all over Boston. I got pretty worn out but it was totally worth it to get a great look at the city.
Came back from Boston to Sam and Steff's house for my Birthday Party!! Ice cream cake and grilled pizza! It was great. We talked a long time on the back deck and then moved inside for some more zombie dice and Monty Python card game (Flux). Best birthday ever :)
